Our Leadership Team

Eric Dachs, CEO
Eric Dachs is the Founder and CEO. Eric started his career in film post-production as a sound designer and editor at all three of the feature film post-production facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area, including Skywalker Sound, the Saul Zaentz Film Center, and American Zoetrope. Eric’s film credits include The Sixth Sense, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Autumn in New York, Chocolat, and Panic Room.

While working as a sound designer at Lucasfilm on the Sony Pictures feature Panic Room, Eric became dissatisfied with the outdated methods of communicating between the different departments working on the film. Eric bought a book on the PHP programming language, taught himself programming, and wrote the initial prototype for what would eventually become PIX. He foresaw a world in which information needed to be shared easily and safely. With the goal of revolutionizing digital communication and security during film production, Eric founded PIX in 2003.

Eric’s unwavering vision and dedication led the way for innovation in the field. Today, with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and London, PIX is typically used on over 700 major feature films and television productions per year, from all major motion picture studios, production companies, and new media studios including Netflix, Amazon and Hulu.

Her first introduction to the entertainment industry was at the Ohio Film Commission, where she was tasked with manually taping and mailing 4x6 location photos to recruit potential productions. Lisa found this highly inefficient, which fueled her interest in streamlining any creative process.

Lisa spent the next 15+ years working as a freelance Producer, Art Department and Production Coordinator, as well as 3 years in house for Centropolis Entertainment and Centropolis Interactive. She has worked on over two dozen commercials, as well as feature films such as The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Zodiac, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Day After Tomorrow, The Patriot, Godzilla and Men In Black. It was during this time that she began to develop a unique skill for operational efficiency, mostly in an effort to meet budget and schedule demands, but also within the broader sense of storytelling.

In 2009 Lisa joined PIX, and was first on the ground in Los Angeles, establishing the office in 2010, and in London, opening the office in 2013.

Kyle dug in, taking whatever freelance work that came along, learning the ins and outs of the industry with each new job, until he landed his first feature film gig. It was during this film, that Kyle found the mentorship that helped propel his professional career forward and he began to quickly move up through the freelance production ranks.

By the time Kyle was recruited to join PIX in 2012, he had worked on several blockbuster films, such as The Bourne Legacy, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and Iron Man II.

Relying heavily on the skills and knowledge acquired throughout his production career, Kyle manages a team of industry experts who are responsible for all aspects of client satisfaction and engagement, and are involved at all levels of client support.

Kyle is originally from Colorado and is an avid Denver sports fan. He currently makes his home in Southern California with his wife and two children.

He was instrumental in negotiating long-term agreements with all the major film studios in Hollywood as well as numerous television networks and streaming services. Larry is currently focused on supporting the company’s M&A activities, including managing the due diligence and legal processes and collaborating on commercial integration projects. He also works on various contracts and data privacy policies.

Before PIX, Larry had over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He was a feature film and television sound editor, supervisor and mixer on projects ranging from indie features and documentaries to big budget studio films. Larry’s primary sound editing base was the legendary Skywalker Sound post production facility where he worked on over 20 films.
